DUPLICATION - Also known as "burning" - Duplication involves the recording of the data onto
a disc using a laser. This is exactly the same method used by home drivers.  With the use of
automated duplicators, many disc copies can be made at once.  CD duplication is best for
quantities up to 1,000 or for very fast turn around times.
Replication is a better choice for DVD
quantities over 100.

REPLICATION - Also known as "pressing" - Replication involves the production of a disc from
a polycarbonate mould with the data pressed into this mould using a stamper. This stamper is
made from a glass master created from your original master.  This process is not cost effective
in CD quantities below 1,000.

INKJET PRINTING - Much like the inkjet printing used to print on paper, inkjet printing for
discs is created by spraying ink droplets on discs that have a special white background coating.
The resolution of the artwork is very important to ensure high quality images.  An optional
lacquer coating is available.  This makes the disc label waterproof and prolongs longevity.

SCREEN PRINTING - Screens for each color of the artwork are developed and placed on the
disc face.  Ink is then squeezed through these screens.  The look is professional and is as
good as any "store bought" disc.  Screen printing is ideal for disc quantities over 1,000 but cost
prohibitive for small runs.

THERMAL PRINTING - Thermal printing is the process that is most flexible.  It can be used
to create text or mono-color logos and other simplistic art or detailed, glossy photo quality
graphics.  Heat is used to press images through a plastic film directly onto the surface of the
disc.  Thermal printing is non-fading and won't rub off.  It also has the fastest turn around time.
